What is HotCity?

Hotcity is the Luxembourg WiFi network initiative.

Initiated by the City of Luxembourg in 2007, the City of Esch-sur-Alzette has joined the initiative end of March 2009.

The 2 main objectives are:

Specific Hotcity services

Offer a wide range of specific webservices that will enhance life and the experience within the territories of Luxembourg-city and Esch-sur-Alzette (location based services like “find a shop”, touristic information, Games, etc…) that you can use either on a wifi enabled laptop or on a wifi enabled mobile device (mobile phones, smartphones, pda’s, iphone, ipod touch…etc).

These services are free of charge & can only be accessed when logged in to Hotcity on both territories within the coverage area.

Open Internet access

Provide an open access to the World Wide Web, via different Internet providers. A small fee will be charged for this. See our pricing section for more details.
